On Feb. 11, 2017 I taught a Pocket Urban Sketching worskhop at the Amazon Campus in Seattle. The class kicked off the #USk10x10 series of workshops that Urban Sketchers is organizing across the globe in 2017. Urban Sketchers is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the art of on-location drawing and inspiring people to “show the world, one drawing at a time.” 2017 marks the 10th anniversary since the seed of a thriving global community of urban sketchers was planted when I started a group on Flickr where sketchers could share drawings of their cities (https://www.flickr.com/groups/urbansketches/) For more information about the Urban Sketchers organization, visit http://www.urbansketchers.org. Kalman, Mario Linhares, Jane Dillon Wingfield, Gail Wong and everyone else who helped made this workshop a reality!)
